Red Cross Donations for the Calamity Victims of Japan

As we all know, a very unfortunate calamity has struck Japan over the weekend and according to the news, there are still impending aftershocks and tsunamis on the west coast. We are calling for donations, cash or in-kind, to help the victims of calamity.

The donation box will be picked up by the Philippine Red Cross this Friday 18 March 2011.

Here’s what you can donate:


Rice, noodles, canned goods, sugar, iodized salt, cooking oil, monggo beans and portable water.


Paracetamol, antibiotics, analgesic, oral rehydration salts, multivitamins, and medications to treat diarrheal diseases.



Bath soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo

Laundry soap, jerry cans, water containers, water purification tablets

Face towels, blankets, plastic mats, mosquito nets, plastic sheets
